Chelsea Patricia Ramirez is a Guatemalan-American artist and entrepreneur who is short in height but a giant at heart. As the daughter of two audacious immigrants, she decided after being cast on the show Little America, a powerful immigrant anthology series, to disrupt the industry by focusing on cultivating empathetic, empowered set cultures to elevate artistically ambitious and excellent stories.
She is Founder and CCO of the production company, Grumpy Kid Pictures, with a team mission to tell stories for the bouncy, bold, and ambitious.
Her passion for storytelling lies in comedy, freedom, and the power of paradox. She works to shed light on narratives of immigrants, families, and young adults while expanding the values of empathy, love, and healing through her work. Ramirez lives by a quote from one of her heroes, Kobe Bryant: "The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do.”
